Citizen Service Bot for State Departments
Proposed for Rajasthan government departments dealing with high volumes of repetitive citizen queries on schemes, documents, and procedures.

The Problem
Rajasthan's e-Mitra centres and government helplines handle thousands of queries daily — "How do I apply for a ration card?", "What documents do I need for Chiranjeevi health insurance?", "Where is my pension application status?"
Most answers exist in government PDFs, circulars, and websites — but citizens can't find them. Helpline operators answer the same 50 questions on loop. Wait times at e-Mitra can exceed 2 hours for a 30-second answer.
What We're Building
A Hindi-first AI assistant that answers citizen queries about government schemes and procedures — trained on official Rajasthan government documents.
- Hindi natural language — citizens ask questions in conversational Hindi, not bureaucratic keywords
- Document grounding — answers are sourced from official circulars and scheme guidelines (RAG architecture), not hallucinated
- Multi-channel — deployable on WhatsApp, web widget for department sites, and voice (via telephony integration)
- Escalation routing — when the bot can't answer, it routes to the right department with context pre-filled
Expected Impact
70%
Queries auto-resolved
